Guests can reach the Bird Park riding the city bus line entitled "Parque Nacional" which stops include both the Bird Park and Hotel Florença.
The Bird Park area is 17 hectares but just 04 hectares are in used nowadays. The remaining area is left untouched and left for preservation.
The souvenirs shop on the Bird Park sells ecological products. The crafts are made of stone, wood, leather, pottery along with T-shirts, hats, paintings and other items. Credit cards and foreign currencies are accepted. The resources obtained on the shop are used on the Park's maintenance and in the Park's projects of conservation, education and research.
